LENORE SKOMAL
PLAYWRIGHT

Magda has been withTHE EXES throughout its development. A career director, she's also the founder and director of her own theatre company, Interactive Educational Theatre, Inc., a nonprofit touring company focusing on social issues and performing in venues across the country and the director of the award-winning Stop AIDS Mobile Theatre, bringing awareness about HIV/AIDS to diverse communities. Her work has earned her the State of Connecticut Commissioner’s AIDS Leadership Award and the Salve Regina University Alumni Achievement Award. Previous credits include: Lincoln Center, The Hartford Stage Co., Stratford's Shakespeare Theatre, The Rich Forum, The Quick Center for the Arts, The Casino Theatre in Newport and The Polka Dot Playhouse.  Magda studied under the late Stella Adler after graduating from Salve Regina University with BA & BS degrees. Ross comes to the New York stage via Australia. His New York credits include Off Broadway productions of: Come Light My Cigarette, Beirut and True West as well as Romeo and Juliet (Lincoln Centre Education). Australian credits: Vivid White & I'll Eat You Last (Melbourne Theatre Company), Boys Will be Boys & Power Plays (Sydney Theatre Company), Title and Deed & Woyzeck (Belvoir Theatre), An Index of Metals, Owen Wingrave & Climbing Towards Midnight (Sydney Chamber Opera), Poppea & Lamant Jalous (Pinchgut Opera); Nothing Has Changed (Sydney Symphony Orchestra) and many others. In Australia, Ross taught lighting design at the National Institute for Dramatic Art (NIDA) as well mentored student designers.

ROSS GRAHAM
LIGHTING DESIGN

Nathan is a career musician, drummer, vocalist, and improviser. He improvises with the bands GORPLORD and On The Way . He's a percussionist with Memory Wolf, Imitation Crab, the multimedia collective/YouTube channel Apartment Sessions, and works as a session drummer and choral tenor in the tri-state area. In the art music realm, he has performed with the Providence Research Ensemble, piano+ collective, Yale Repertory Chorus, ARTEK, and the S.E.M. Ensemble. He's recently collaborated with Undertow Dance and presented work at Hurrá in Reykjavik and at The Brick as part of the CORIOLANUS: 2018 Midterm Election Extravaganza. His current work with Forklift Experimental Theatre Residency is on a collaborative adaption of Ursula LeGuin’s The Dispossessed as an improvisatory space opera.

NATHAN REPASZ 
MUSIC

Meredith Glisson is a Brooklyn-based artist. Her artistic work spans across disciplines falling in between contemporary dance and theatre, acknowledging the body as it confronts itself within situations in order to have the opportunity to renegotiate an alternative position. In 2017, the Aesthetica Anthology Magazine included her work as 1 of 100 leading artists from around the world. She has presented her choreography in France, UK and USA. 

MEREDITH GLISSON
MOVEMENT CONSULTANT

Alexander Allen is ecstatic to join the team on Exes as Stage Manager. Since graduating from Indiana University, where he concentrated on stage management, he has completed an apprenticeship with New York Live Arts and freelanced in both theatre and dance throughout city. Recent Credits include ASM Bill T Jone/Arnie Zane Company, SM RoseAnne Spradlin, Stage Management PA Marie, Dancing Still.

Elizabeth is a New York based costume designer and recent graduate of Fordham University at Lincoln Center thrilled to be joining Craig on The Exes. ELIZABETH RYAN
ASSISTANT COSTUME DESIGNER

Roberta Cooper is a NYC based dancer and choreographer and has performed and collaborated over the past several decades with a diverse range of artists and dancers in both the United States an Canada. Since 2011 she has been the assistant stage manager for the Barnard College Dance Department and frequently joins the production crew at the Miller Theater at Columbia University. She earned her BA in Corporate Communications from Baruch College in the spring of 2018.

Diane Alianiello has collaborated with Jamie Cesa/CESA Entertainment on dozens of shows together over the past decade. For the past 3 years Diane served as the in-house General Manager for the lovely, historic Cherry Lane Theatre. Prior to that she worked for several production companies including Richard Frankel Productions, Stuart Thompson Productions, Running Subway, Roy Gabay Productions  and WestBeth  Entertainment. Diane holds a BA in Theatre from Florida State University and an MFA in Performing Arts Management from Brooklyn College.

Jordan moved to NYC two years ago from Kentucky and is thrilled to be a part of The Exes this summer. She has previously worked for Diane Alianiello at Cherry Lane Theatre as the Assistant Company Manager of First Love and most recently assisted the Company Management team at Broadway Bounty Hunter. Jordan holds a BA in Theatre from Samford University and an MFA in Performing Arts Management from Brooklyn College.

Gail Anderson and Joe Newton are career graphic designers and partners at Anderson Newton Design, a boutique design studio in NYC’s fur district. Anderson is the former creative director of design at SpotCo and is the winner of the 2018 Cooper Hewitt-Smithsonian Design Award for Lifetime Achievement. Newton is an award-winning designer and art director, as well as the former drummer of Gas Huffers (seriously). Both teach design at the School of Visual Arts, where Anderson also serves as creative director of Visual Arts Press. Joe is very tall, and Gail is not.

Zeynep Akca is the person behind all of the social media content you’ve been following. She moved to New York City in 2014 from Istanbul, Turkey. She is now a graduate of the Public Affairs program at Baruch College. She received one of the 2018 David and Lilian Swerdlow Awards for graduating seniors who excel in the theatrical arts. Aside from working in marketing, she is a director, producer, and stage manager. She will be making her Off-Broadway debut as a director with The Argentinian Prostitute Play by Reuven Glezer in Broadway Bound Theatre Festival in August 2019.

Dan DeMello has coordinated press campaigns across the United States and internationally – in Canada, Mexico City, Dublin, London, Berlin and Paris. For over a decade, he’s publicized hundreds of Broadway and off-Broadway productions and dozens of major events including Born for Broadway,The New York Times Travel Show, The New York Times Arts & Leisure Weekend, Broadway in Bryant Park, among others. In film, he handled the publicity for the 2010 American Psychological thriller Zenith.
